Janet Lunn

Janet has had over thirty years’ experience working in primary schools. She has been Headteacher in both a large nursery and infant and a through primary school. Both schools achieved an outstanding grade from Ofsted under her leadership and Janet was awarded National Leader status in 2013. Since leaving headship, Janet has spent three years working in over 100 schools, reviewing school performance and making recommendations for improvements. Janet is an independent consultant working across four primary academies within the trust.

Janet has been heavily involved in initial teacher training, working with groups of students to help them reflect upon and improve their performance. Strengths include; early years, parental involvement, curriculum design, developing leaders and school development work. Janet is passionate about improving the life chances of all children, particularly those from deprived backgrounds.
