PRINCIPAL

Is responsible for the strategic vision for the Academies’ curriculum and qualifications framework.

 

Sets the strategic vision for the spiritual, moral, social and cultural development of students.

Agree the curriculum plan annually.

 

Is responsible for agreeing the principles on which the Academy’s qualifications and curriculum policies are based in line with guidance as prepared by the DfE.

Provides curriculum and qualifications guidance for all academies.

 

Monitors the implementation of the curriculum and qualifications strategic vision and guidance.

 

With the LAB is responsible for supporting, challenging and advising the Academy in the development and implementation of its curriculum and qualifications framework.

 

Is responsible for monitoring statutory compliance on behalf of the Boards.

 

Is responsible for monitoring statutory compliance with respect to the quality of spiritual, moral, social and cultural development of students on behalf of the Boards.

 

The LAB is responsible for knowing and understanding the Academy’s own evaluation of the quality of its curricular and extra-curricular provision.

 

Is responsible for supporting, challenging and advising the Academy in the development and implementation of its curriculum and qualifications framework and its extra-curricular provision.

 

Is responsible for knowing and understanding the Academy’s own evaluation of the quality of spiritual, moral, social and cultural development of students.

 

Is responsible for the evaluation of the Academy’s extra-curricular provision

 

 

Is responsible for the development and implementation of the Academy’s curriculum and qualifications framework.

 

Is responsible for the development and implementation of the Academy’s extra-curricular provision.

 

Is responsible for ensuring the curriculum allows students to progress to the next stage effectively.

 

Is responsible for the quality of spiritual, moral, social and cultural development of students.

 

Is responsible for ensuring statutory policies as outlined by the MAT are in place and implemented.
